Courtney is an undergraduate member of the Shrestha Lab and is currently pursuing a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Biology. She is interested in learning more about the neural pathways involved in fear and threat memory consolidation, especially in its relation to the understanding and treatment of human anxiety disorders. Within the lab, she is studying the mechanisms behind extinction learning and reinstatement using a Pavlovian cued threat conditioning model. In her free time, Courtney enjoys practicing archery, volunteering with friends, and hanging out with her ESA cat.
